On Sunday, August 23rd, Christiana Josephine, daughter of Gerald and Camelia Milite, was baptized into the Orthodox Church. May God grant Christiana Josephine, her parents, and her sponsors, Lucian and Gabriela, many blessed years! Serving with Fr. John was Fr. His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon will make an archpastoral visit to Christ the Savior on August 15-16, 2026, for our Patronal Feast. On Saturday, the Feast of the Dormition, Divine Liturgy with the blessing of flowers will be celebrated at 9:00am, followed by a Festive Lamb Roast with His Beatitude at 3:30pm and Great Vespers at 6:00pm. On Sunday, everyone is asked to gather by 8:30am to welcome Metropolitan Tikhon, followed by the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at 9:00am. After Liturgy, we will process to the archway for our parish photo and conclude with a festive luncheon. Everyone is warmly invited to join us for this special weekend!
