From August 15-17, 2018, and for the first time ever, Christ the Savior offered a Vacation Church School for the youth of the parish. The camp got off to a great start, with two dozen children participating and numerous volunteers coming together to lead the activities.
Some of our activities included: attending Divine Liturgy for Dormition and our parish feastday, The Icon Not-made-by-hands, creating clay crosses, painting rocks and using decoupage to attach icons and quotes, baking blueberry crisp, learning to sing as a new youth choir, having spiritual talks with Father John, swimming in the pool, water-balloon throwing, sack races, building a shrine, mounting icons, and watching Father John fly a drone!

On the Sunday of All Saints of North America, June 14, 2026, we welcomed five new members into the Holy Orthodox Church: Samara (Svetlana) Parsells, Joshua (Moses) Fantigrossi, Joshua (Paul) McKelvey, Rachel (Matrona) Rinas, and Kyle (Maximus) Rinas. We congratulate them, their families, their friends, and all who joined us for this joyful occasion. May the Lord grant His newly-received servants health, strength, salvation, growth in every good work, and many blessed years!
