Blessing of Academic Year - 08/31/08
On Sunday, August 31st, prayers were offered and a special blessing extended to teachers and students on the occasion of the new academic year. Two awards, St. George and Chi-Rho, were also bestowed on Christopher Smith for his study of the Holy Orthodox Faith through the Eastern Orthodox Scout Program.Congratulations to Christopher and his family! May the Lord continue to guide him in his study of the Faith. And may God also grant His wisdom and understanding to all the teachers and students who are entering in on another academic year!

We congratulate them, their families, their friends, and all who joined us for this joyful occasion.
