Great Lent begins this year on Monday, March 7th. The Sunday before the Great Fast (March 6th) is called Forgiveness Sunday, for on this day we ask each other's forgiveness, remembering that there can be no true fast, no genuine repentance, no reconciliation with God, unless we are at the same time reconciled with one another. Let us take this God-given opportunity to start afresh with the Lord, each other, our families and friends, and even our enemies.

The Rite of Forgiveness will be held following the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, March 6th. All members of the Parish are asked to make a special effort to be present for this important day.
