Harvest Ball at the Golden Sands - 10/28/06

On October 28th, a Harvest Ball was held at the Golden Sands Resort in Ocean City, MD. The dinner dance was a splendid success, bringing together parishioners, long-time friends of the parish, and new supporters. Proceeds from the Harvest Ball totalled approximately $880 and will be used for our church building project. Many thanks to all those who helped to make the Harvest Ball possible; either through your labors in preparation for the event, through supporting our church by purchasing tickets, or through any other way you’ve helped! Blessing of Chariots - 07/24/22

On Sunday, July 24, 2022, at the end of the Divine Liturgy, we had the annual Blessing of Chariots (cars, trucks, bikes, etc).  It is a custom of Orthodox Christians to have their cars blessed both when newly acquired and on or near the feast of the Prophet Elias (July 20th), as he ascended as if into heaven on a fiery chariot. We thank God for a truly blessed day!
