In March and April 2021, our reading group will be reading "On The Incarnation" by St. Athanasius the Great. By any standard, this is a classic of Christian theology. Composed by St. Athanasius in the fourth century, it expounds with simplicity the theological vision defended at the councils of Nicaea and Constantinople: that the Son of God himself became "fully human, so that we might become god." Its influence on all Christian theology thereafter, East and West, ensures its place as one of the few "must read" books of Christian theology for all time.

2026 Annual Parish Meeting - 02/08/26

On Sunday, February 8, 2026, Christ the Savior held its Annual Parish Meeting. The agenda, reports, budget, and draft minutes for the meeting are available below. A central focus of the meeting was continued progress toward building the new temple, including updates on permitting, fundraising milestones, and the launch of the Ambassadors’ Program to engage every household in the effort. Parishioners were encouraged to participate prayerfully and voluntarily as the community moves closer to the active construction phase. We thank all who attended, presented reports, and assisted with the minutes!

What is the Orthodox Church?

“The Orthodox Christian Church is evangelical, but not Protestant.
It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman.
It is not denominational, it is pre-denominational.
It has believed, taught, preserved, defended, and died for the
Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost nearly 2,000 years ago.”
