New Gospel Book Text
image
With the help of John Kokkinos, a parishioner from nearby St. George's, a new English text was installed into our Gospel Book. John is an expert craftsman, who has offered his talents to the Orthodox Church on similar projects, such as preparing a beautiful riza for the myrrh-streaming Iveron Icon of Hawaii.

The Gospel book cover was generously offered by anonymous donors. May the Lord's blessing be upon all who offered their time, talent, and treasure to make this possible to His glory!

What is the Orthodox Church?

“The Orthodox Christian Church is evangelical, but not Protestant.
It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman.
It is not denominational, it is pre-denominational.
It has believed, taught, preserved, defended, and died for the
Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost nearly 2,000 years ago.”
