On Sunday, January 25th, the parishioners of Christ the Savior gathered together for their Annual Meeting. In addition to reviewing the minutes from last year's meeting, the parish body heard reports from the rector, senior warden, junior warden, treasurer, auditors, choir director and the parish council on stewardship.
Following the passing of the budget, nominations were made for the 2015 parish council. Discussion was then had relating to the Scrip account, the upcoming All-American Council, the acquisition of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), as well as other items related to parish life.
We thank all of those who attended the meeting as well as those who prepared and offered reports. We also extend our thanks to the diocesan and local church administration as well as all of the members, visitors, benefactors and supporters of the Mission. Finally, we give thanks to Almighty God for all of His blessings during 2014! To Him be the glory, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

On Bright Monday, we joyfully celebrated the Divine Liturgy with Fr. Gary Breton presiding for the first time at Christ the Savior, marking a blessed and memorable occasion for our parish. The festal joy continued after the service with the much-anticipated annual Bright Monday Snowball Massacre, where parishioners of all ages gathered in laughter and friendly competition, extending the radiant celebration of Pascha in a spirit of fellowship, delight, and shared resurrectional joy.
