Fellowship Hour + Pool Reopening

On Tuesday, June 23, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon blessed and approved amendments to our reopening plan which will take effect July 4, 2020. The letter from Metropolitan Tikhon together with the amendments may be read below. Questions regarding the plan may be addressed to Fr. John Parsells.

Christ the Savior will have its annual blessing of the pool and Cross Dive following the Divine Services on Sunday, July 5, weather-permitting. The pool will be open for swimming until 1pm. A certified lifeguard will be on duty, but parents should still watch their children.

Food will be offered during the fellowship hour in a manner consistent with all requirements by the State of Maryland.

Be safe and enjoy! Questions? See Fr. John.

What is the Orthodox Church?

“The Orthodox Christian Church is evangelical, but not Protestant.
It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman.
It is not denominational, it is pre-denominational.
It has believed, taught, preserved, defended, and died for the
Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost nearly 2,000 years ago.”
